The Getac 9212 business rugged notebook is powered by Intel® Centrino® 2 Processor technology featuring ultra low voltage Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor based on 45nm technology to provide the best performance and mobility for frequent travelers and business executives. Even being the lightest in the Getac family with only 1.25kg, the 9212 also provides excellent durability with support for up to 75 cm drop, and liquid resistance design for keyboard and buttons; it has also survived various compress tests, such as 120kg stress test. The 9212 offers substantially long battery life up to 8 hours** to relieve the common concern for power supply. The 9212 further enhances its security features by providing a fingerprint scanner and TPM security module, and a shock-protected HDD. Its also offers extensive wireless features with the latest 802.11 a/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 and an optional HSDPA module to enable boundless connectivity.

Battery performance will vary upon software applications, wireless settings, power management settings, LCD brightness, customized modules and environmental conditions.
